Douglas County PUD Commissioners Molly Simpson, Aaron J. Viebrock and Ronald E. Skagen executed the following actions during the January 6, 2026 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:
Approved renewal of land use permit 10A-01, City of Pateros. The permit is for use of Project lands for an existing statue. (26-001)
Authorized land use permit 58C-01, Shawn and Jennifer Isenhart. The permit is for use of Project lands for existing landscaping, beach area, fence and small shed. (26-002)
Approved change order No. 6 to contract 22-57-W, spillway and spillway gate maintenance at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Changes include gate rehab, upper leaf slot bearing plate replacement, concrete work and gearbox rehab. This will increase the contract $532,965. (26-003)
Authorized change order No. 115 to contract 06-41-W, generator rebuild and unit refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Changes incorporate work previously authorized by field work orders. (26-004)
Approved a Professional Service Agreement with Terracon Consultants, Inc under Contract 25-35-D Geotechnical Drilling and Investigative Work. This contract will not exceed $625,000. (26-005)
The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. January 20, 2026 at the District’s East Wenatchee Office.
