DNO 在该许可证中的合作伙伴是Aker BP ASA(30%)、Concedo AS(15%)和Japex Norge AS(15%)。

DNO ‘Hot Streak’ Continues with North Sea Discovery

DNO ASA has made 10 discoveries since 2021 in the Troll-Gjøa exploration and development area.

Norwegian operator DNO ASA announced that its Kjøttkake exploration well has made an oil and gas discovery in the northern North Sea.

The discovery was made in license PL1182 S, where DNO holds a 40% operated interest. Preliminary estimates of gross recoverable resources are in the range of 39 MMboe to 75 MMboe, with a mean of 55 MMboe.

The Kjøttkake well encountered a 41-meter (m) oil column and a 9-m gas column. A sidetrack drilled horizontally 1,350 m westward along the reservoir in the Sotra Formation confirmed the presence of the oil column throughout the discovery.

“We are on a hot streak in Norway,” said Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani, DNO’s executive chairman. “Our latest and most exciting discovery this year, Kjøttkake, is close to existing infrastructure in the Troll-Gjøa area, and we will be relentless in pursuing its commercialization.”

Kjøttkake is DNO’s 10th discovery since 2021 in the Troll-Gjøa exploration and development hotspot, following Røver Nord, Kveikje, Ofelia, Røver Sør, Heisenberg, Carmen, Kyrre, Cuvette and Ringand.

The well is 27 km northwest of the Troll C platform and 44 km southwest of the Gjøa platform.

DNO’s partners in the license are Aker BP ASA (30%), Concedo AS (15%) and Japex Norge AS (15%).
