Under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Engineer Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, the Oil Exploration Company (OEC) has completed the two-dimensional South Al-Faka program in Maysan Governorate by 100%.
During his visit to the Fifth Amphibious Seismic Division today, Sunday, the Director General of the Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, praised the qualitative achievement of the national staff, which represents a milestone in the company's record of successes. He emphasized that this success reflects the high efficiency, strong will, and distinguished professionalism of the company's national staff.
The Director General explained that this achievement enhances confidence in the Iraqi competencies working at the Oil Exploration Company and opens new horizons for the implementation of more strategic projects supporting the energy sector's infrastructure in Iraq.
The program was implemented through the efforts of the Fifth Amphibious Seismic Division, one of the formations of the Field Work Authority, despite the environmental challenges faced by the team. The work area reached 1,104.75 kilometers in length, with 20,530 energy points recorded.
