沙巴壳牌石油公司在沙巴/文莱近海 Gumusut-Kakap-Geronggong-Jagus East（GKGJE）深水开发项目第四阶段生产出了第一批石油。

该项目涉及钻探三口新的生产井和一口注水井，分别位于沙巴和文莱近海，并连接至水深 1,200 米的 Gumusut-Kakap 半潜式浮式生产系统。

在高峰期，新井的产量可达到 21,000 桶油当量/天。

Gumusut-Kakap 于 2014 年投产，是壳牌在马来西亚的首个深水项目。该公司于 2022 年 10 月对第四阶段进行了最终投资决定。

Sabah Shell Petroleum Co. has produced first oil production from the Phase 4 Gumusut-Kakap-Geronggong-Jagus East (GKGJE) deepwater development offshore Sabah/Brunei.

The project involved drilling three new producer wells and one water injection well—two each offshore Sabah and Brunei—tied back to the Gumusut-Kakap semisubmersible floating production system in 1,200 m water depth.

At peak, the new wells should contribute 21,000 boe/d.

Gumusut-Kakap, which came onstream in 2014, was Shell’s first deepwater project in Malaysia. The company took FID on Phase 4 in October 2022.
