CNOOC’s Long Lake Northwest project will reach a peak production of 8,200 bbl/d of crude in 2025.
CNOOC’s Long Lake Northwest Project, located in Alberta, Canada, has safely began production, CNOOC Ltd. announced Nov. 6.
CNOOC Petroleum North America ULC, a subsidiary of CNOOC Ltd., is the 100% owner and operator of the project.
The project’s main production facilities include a well pad and four pipelines. It will be developed with steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) operation. Eight additional well pairs are planned to be commissioned.
