Automation company SitePro will deploy technology for water infrastructure company Direct Midstream.
Lubbock-based SitePro was named the exclusive automation provider for Direct Midstream as the company pursues growth in the Permian Basin.
The agreement, announced Sept. 3, calls for SitePro to integrate its automation and control technology across 15 existing saltwater disposal (SWD) facilities, with expansion planned into reclamation sites.
The automation rollout is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime and provide the scalability needed for Direct Midstream’s expansion strategy as demand for water in Permian E&P operations continues to grow.
“Partnering with Direct Midstream is an incredible opportunity for SitePro to showcase the power of smart automation at scale,” said David Bateman, SitePro CEO, in a press release.
Direct Midstream CEO Bryan Benson said the deal reinforces the company’s focus on building resilient and forward-looking infrastructure.
