DALLAS—Private Texas E&P Pillar Oil & Gas is working with Raymond James to market assets in the Eagle Ford Shale.

The private equity-backed company holds approximately 30,000 net acres in Atascosa County, Texas, Raymond James Managing Director Will Hodge told Hart Energy at the A&D Strategies and Opportunities Conference on Sept. 11.

Pillar currently produces about 3,000 boe/d. The company holds approximately 110 net locations in the Eagle Ford’s oil window.

Dallas-based Pillar was founded in 2018 with financial backing from Massachusetts-based private equity firm Old Ironsides Energy.

Subsidiary Pillar EFS LLC produced around 53,000 bbl and 23 MMcf of gas from Atascosa County in June, according to the most recent Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) data.

The Pillar assets are located just north of assets recently acquired by publicly traded giant EOG Resources earlier this year.

EOG Resources  bolted on what it called the largest remaining undeveloped core acreage in the Eagle Ford Shale from private seller Arrow S Energy for $275 million, the company said in first-quarter earnings.
