The technical and engineering staff of the Iraqi Drilling Company has completed drilling the ZB 606 oil well at a depth of 3463 meters in the Zubair oil field in Basra Governorate. The Deputy Director General of the company, Mr. Kazim Habash Khalif, said that the company's staff completed drilling the well in cooperation with Schlumberger Oil Services Company.

This comes within the contract concluded with the Italian company ENI to drill 37 oil wells in the field.

He pointed out that the well is the thirty-sixth that the company has completed within this contract.

It is worth noting that the well was drilled using the IDC37 drilling rig with a horsepower of 1500 horsepower.
