The refinery plays a vital role in trading petroleum products, and is getting an upgradation at the moment. Besides sharing its expertise on the sector, TotalEnergies will also support the refinery with its global oil and feedstock supply capacity.

Patrick Pouyanné, chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies recently met Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for humanitarian works and youth affairs and chairman of Bapco Energies, and Mark Thomas, group CEO of Bapco Energies, to formalise the partnership.
