Equinor及其合作伙伴在“Vikingskipet”勘探区钻探了一口干井。

这口名为7018/5-2的探井位于1236号生产许可证区域内,距离Hammerfest以西约190公里,距离SnKinti Vit油田西南约140公里。

这是该生产许可证区域内的第一口勘探井,该许可证于2024年授予(APA 2023)。

该生产许可证区域的持证人包括Equinor(作业者)、Venti Vité Energi和Petoro。

该井由COSL Prospector钻机钻探。

地质信息:

该井的主要勘探目标是探明TubKin组上部下侏罗统储层岩中是否存在石油。

该井的次要勘探目标是探明中侏罗统至上三叠统诺德梅拉组、图布勒熺禍n组下部和弗鲁霍尔门组中的储层岩石中是否存在石油。

在圣卡勒姆组和诺德梅拉组钻井过程中遇到的作业难题导致了技术性侧钻。

在主要勘探目标方面,该井钻遇了总厚度为104米的图布勒熺禍n组,其中25米为储层质量较差至中等的砂岩层。


在次要勘探目标范围内,该井钻遇总厚度为643米的诺德梅拉组(Nordmela Formation),其中60米为储层质量较差至中等的砂岩层。

该井还钻遇总厚度为272米的圣卡燂拷组(StKindlam Formation),其中233米为砂岩层。7018

/5-2井垂直深度达海平面以下1880米,终止于下侏罗统的图布燂燦组(TubKindlam Formation)。下图布燂燦组和弗鲁霍尔门组(Fruholmen Formation)的次要勘探目标未达到。

Equinor drills dry well in the Barents Sea (7018/5-2)

Equinor and its partners have drilled a dry well on the "Vikingskipet" prospect.

Wildcat well 7018/5-2 was drilled in production licence 1236, about 190 kilometres west of Hammerfest and about 140 kilometres southwest of the Sn锟絟vit field.

This is the first exploration well in the production licence, which was awarded in 2024 (APA 2023).

The licensees in the production licence are Equinor (operator), V锟絩 Energi and Petoro.

The well was drilled by the COSLProspector rig.

Geological information

The well's primary exploration target was to prove petroleum in Lower Jurassic reservoir rocks in the upper part of the Tub锟絜n Formation.

The well's secondary exploration target was to prove petroleum in Middle Jurassic to Upper Triassic reservoir rocks in the Nordmela Formation, the lower part of the Tub锟絜n Formation and the Fruholmen Formation.

Operational challenges during drilling in the St锟� and Nordmela formations resulted in a technical sidetrack.

In connection with the primary exploration target, the well encountered the Tub锟絜n Formation with a total thickness of 104 metres, 25 metres of which were sandstone layers with poor to moderate reservoir quality.


In connection with the secondary exploration target, the well encountered the Nordmela Formation with a total thickness of 643 metres, 60 metres of which were sandstone layers with poor to moderate reservoir quality.

The well also encountered the St锟� Formation with an overall thickness of 272 metres, 233 metres of which were sandstone layers.

Well 7018/5-2 was drilled to a vertical depth of 1880 metres below sea level and was terminated in the Tub锟絜n Formation in the Lower Jurassic. Secondary exploration targets in the lower Tub锟絜n and Fruholmen formations were not reached.
