Jericho to Start Data Center Business on Oklahoma Gas Assets

Canada鈥檚 Jericho Energy Ventures says it will deliver on-site natural gas to power future campuses.


Canada-based Jericho Energy Ventures is starting a data center business centered upon the company鈥檚 access to 40,000 acres of natural gas-producing property in Oklahoma, the company announced March 31.

The project, which Jericho calls a 鈥渕odular data center business,鈥� will be run out of the company鈥檚 Tulsa offices.

鈥淏y aligning our energy resources with the booming demand for modular AI computing infrastructure, we aim to boost revenue and elevate shareholder value through an innovative, sustainable approach," said Brian Williamson, Jericho CEO, in the announcement.

Jericho owns and operates the 40,000 acres in a joint venture. The company says that the data center business will deliver on-site power to future AI data center campuses.
