Rex International Holding Limited（以下简称“公司”或“Rex”，连同其子公司统称为“集团”）的董事会（以下简称“董事会”）提及公司于2025年8月5日发布的新闻稿《Rex子公司Akrake Petroleum在贝宁Sm油田开钻首口井》，并希望就贝宁Sm油田正在进行的三口井钻探作业提供最新进展。

浮式储卸油装置（FSO）已抵达贝宁并停泊在锚地。系泊系统目前正在安装中，并将通过输油管线连接至移动式海上生产装置（MOPU）。海上作业平台（MOPU）计划于2025年11月底抵达油田。

钻井作业遇到了一些技术问题，目前正在采取补救措施解决这些问题。因此，原定的作业完成时间将会推迟。尽管如此，目标仍然是在2025年12月底之前开始生产。

The board of directors (the “Board”) of Rex International Holding Limited (the “Company” or “Rex” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) refers to the Company’s press release dated 5 August 2025, “Rex’s subsidiary Akrake Petroleum spuds first well in Sèmè Field, Benin” and wishes to provide an update on the ongoing three-well drilling campaign in the Sèmè Field, Benin.

The Floating Storage & Offloading (FSO) unit has arrived in Benin and is at the anchorage. The mooring system is currently being installed and will be hooked up with a flowline to the Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU). The MOPU is scheduled to arrive in the field by end-November 2025.

The drilling campaign has encountered some technical issues and remedial actions are being taken to resolve these problems. As such, completion of the original campaign will be delayed. Nonetheless, the target remains to start up production before end-December 2025.

Akrake Petroleum Benin S.A. holds a 76 per cent interest* in the Sèmè Field in Block 1, Benin and is the operator. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lime Petroleum Holding AS, an 89.74 per cent subsidiary of Rex.

*Subject to the Benin government’s entitlements under the Production Sharing Contract (PSC).
