Expro has chosen Baker Hughes and Metrol Technology to support its work on appraising the Endurance reservoir for future carbon capture and storage suitability.
Energy services provider Expro has secured a contract to deliver integrated well testing services for a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project offshore the U.K., according to a June 19 press release.
The Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) has commissioned Expro to provide services in appraising two wells in the Endurance reservoir for future CCS suitability. The reservoir is off England’s northeastern coast.
In December, the North Sea Transition Authority awarded its first carbon storage permit to the NEP, a joint venture between BP, TotalEnergies and Equinor.
