Gas turbine maker FlexEnergy Solutions has agreed to sell its Canadian operations to Enterprise Group Inc. for CA$20 million (~US$14.43 million), FlexEnergy said in a May 1 press release.

The deal adds 17 turbine generators to Enterprise’s fleet and includes several long-term lease and service contracts, the release stated.

After the transaction, Enterprise will become the exclusive supplier for FlexEnergy’s turbines in Canada. Enterprise provides equipment rental services to the energy industry including in western Canada.

FlexEnergy said it plans to use the proceeds from the sale to grow its fleet and pursue opportunities in North America. The company said it expects the sale to close in the next few days.
