Tallgrass Energy is running a binding open season for commitments on the network’s terminal in southeastern Wyoming.
Tallgrass Energy announced an open season on the Pony Express Pipeline for producers seeking to move crude from the line’s Carpenter origin in the southeast corner of Wyoming.
The binding open season allows for shipper acreage dedications at the Carpenter terminal in exchange for incentive tariff rates, according to the company’s announcement. The open season started Sept. 20 and will last 30 days.
The Pony Express is an 830-mile, 230,000 bbl/d crude pipeline system that moves Williston Basin crude from Wyoming to Oklahoma. It’s the third open season for capacity expansion along a segment of the line in 2024. In April, the company held an open season for capacity out of the Williston Basin in Wyoming.
