IWS and Corva decided to work together to bridge the industry need for improved HSE performance at the frac site and enhanced capital efficiency while pumping. William Standifird, CEO of IWS said: “By working with Corva, which is the leader in accelerating real-time drilling and completions digital solutions, we were able to leverage Corva’s Dev Center to create a high-quality app in just a third of the standard production time. The new SIMOPS app integrates data from IWS sensors into an easy-to-use format, improving how customers can view and utilize this vital information.”

The new IWS SIMOPS app is now available on the Corva App Store. The app provides real-time visualisations of the frac tree and wellheads that improve wellsite operational and safety performance.

Ryan Dawson, Founder and CEO of Corva said: “With the launch of SIMOPS, digital innovators like IWS are able to build and scale robust industry solutions in a fraction of the time on the Corva App Store, a rapidly expanding ecosystem of Corva and third-party apps that supports 7000 daily users globally. The Corva App Store has become a catalyst for digital oilfield innovation, fast tracking the deployment of new solutions that drive operational performance and wellsite safety to new levels. The pairing of IWS with Corva's industry-leading user experience and app delivery platform is a perfect example of what we are achieving through collaboration with many more exciting opportunities for joint innovation on the horizon.”

Looking ahead, customers of both IWS and Corva will benefit. Not only do they have access to technologies that save time and money by optimising workflows, but they can now better view critical wellsite data, making it possible to act upon that data more rapidly.
