OMNI Environmental Solutions, a portfolio company of One Equity Partners, said Sept. 10 it completed an asset swap with Select Water Solutions.

OMNI secured certain Select environmental transportation, logistics and disposal assets. In exchange, OMNI divested certain environmental waste management assets in North Dakota to Select.

The acquisition—including additional facilities, equipment and 250 new employees in the Bakken, Anadarko Basin and Marcellus/Utica regions—is expected to be immediately accretive to OMNI’s portfolio, the company said.

Additionally, OMNI said its divestment of non-core Bakken waste disposal assets supports its concentration on high-impact environmental transportation and wellsite services.

“The complementary Select assets strengthen OMNI’s existing operations in the Rockies, Mid-Con and Northeast, and further expand our service capabilities and commitment to delivering value to our customers,” said OMNI President and CEO Courtney Brackin. “We are also incredibly thrilled to welcome a new infusion of experienced, highly skilled talent to our operations.
