BP Awards OneSubsea EPC Contract for GoM Kaskida Project

The OneSubsea subsea boosting system will supply the artificial lift needed to maximize production through the accelerated recovery of reserves.

BP awarded OneSubsea, a joint venture between SLB, Aker Solutions and Subsea7, with a contract to provide a subsea boosting system in its greenfield development of the Kaskida project in the deepwater U.S. Gulf of Mexico, SLB announced Oct. 29.

BP鈥檚 Kaskida is located in the Keathley Canyon area about 250 miles southwest off the coast of New Orleans in 6,000 ft of water.

The project scope includes a supplier-led, high-pressure subsea pump solution complete with an integrated power and controls umbilical and associated topside equipment.
