北海石油公司（NOL）已签署意向书，根据意向书，Kinetic Pressure Control 将为 Deepsea Mira和Deepsea Bollsta半潜式钻井平台配备动能井喷阻止器 (K-BOS)。

据NOL介绍，K-BOS可以消除不可剪切、不可密封的情况，并能在不到一秒的时间内保护油井。

此举将增强其在超深水和恶劣环境下的钻探服务。

Kinetic 首席执行官 Steven Angstmann 表示，“-BOS 使这些一流的钻井平台能够设定新的标准，将发生重大泄漏的风险降低到合理可行的最低水平。”

Northern Ocean (NOL) has entered a letter of intent under which Kinetic Pressure Control will equip the Deepsea Mira and Deepsea Bollsta semisubmersible drilling rigs with the Kinetic Blowout Stopper (K-BOS).

According to NOL, K-BOS can eliminate unshearable and unsealable situations and can secure the well in less than a second.

This should boost its drilling offering in ultradeepwater and harsh environments.

Kinetic CEO Steven Angstmann said, “K-BOS allows these class leading rigs to set a new standard for lowering the risk of a major spill to as low as reasonably practicable.”
