Expand Energy执行副总裁兼首席财务官 Mohit Singh 因“无故解雇”而离开公司。

Expand Energy Executive Vice President and CFO Mohit Singh left the company “due to a termination without cause.”

Singh’s departure from the largest natural gas producer in the U.S. is effective Aug. 13, the company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing after markets closed on Aug. 14. He is eligible to receive post-employment benefits under Expand’s executive severance plan.

Singh has served as executive vice president and CFO at Expand, the nation’s largest natural gas producer, since December 2021. He previously served as an executive with BPX Energy, the U.S. onshore subsidiary of supermajor BP Plc, from 2015 through 2021, according to investor filings.

Hart Energy has reached out to Expand Energy for comment.

Brittany Raiford, Expand’s current vice president and treasurer, has been appointed interim CFO as the company searches for a permanent replacement.

Raiford joined Expand through the 2024 merger with Southwestern Energy. Chesapeake Energy merged with Southwestern to form Expand, combining two of the largest public U.S. natural gas producers.

Raiford joined Southwestern in 2011, most recently serving as director and vice president of investor relations.

Expand Energy has footprints across the natural gas-rich Haynesville and Marcellus shale plays. The company produced 7.2 Bcfe/d (92% natural gas) in the second quarter.
