Bashneft (part of Rosneft) set a new record for daily drilling of a horizontal well in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Since the beginning of 2024, the maximum daily drilling rate has increased by more than 200 meters (from 444 to 647). This is the highest figure among Rosneft subsidiaries in the Volga-Ural region. This result is especially significant given the structural features of the Ural-Volga region, where the drilling process is significantly complicated.
The increase in drilling speed in 2024 was achieved by increasing the efficiency of drilling and service crews, as well as optimizing the operating modes of drilling equipment.
An important factor in increasing the reliability and speed of drilling in Bashkiria is the complete transition of Bashneft to domestic, primarily its own, service. Over 70% of the work is carried out by our own drilling service company.
