HIGHLIGHTS
• Data from RBD03 and broader appraisal program to support maiden reserve certification and
upcoming Production Right application.
• RBD03 flowed gas at an average gas flow rate of 194 Mscfd for a 14-day period.
• This flow rate is 32% higher than the previous flow rate measured prior to well clean out
operations
D3 Energy Limited (D3 Energy or the Company) is pleased to
announce an update from its multi-well production testing program at ER315 located in the Free State,
South Africa.
Outstanding RB03 Flow Rates Confirmed
This round of testing at RBD03 followed a well clean-out operation aimed at removing legacy drilling
materials and improving borehole integrity. The well, originally drilled in 1982, continues to deliver
valuable insights into the reservoir’s long-term productivity.
RBD03 produced at total of 2,700 Mscf [Table 1] at an average gas rate of 194 Mscfd over a 14-day
period. This represents a 32% increase in the stabilised flow rate at RBD03 when compared with results
gained from the previous testing prior to the clean out
Managing Director and CEO of D3 Energy, Mr David Casey said: “The performance of RBD03 postclean out demonstrates the enduring productivity of these legacy boreholes. With enhanced flow rate
stability and consistently high measured helium concentrations across all holes tested to date, this
result supports our belief in the long-term potential of the Bloemskraal area within ER315.
These results, alongside our broader appraisal data, are feeding directly into our reserve certification
process and the Production Right application, which we expect to submit significantly ahead of schedule
and under budget. We remain focused on progressing ER315 as a world-class helium and natural gas
development opportunity.
Reserve Certification and Production Right Application
D3 Energy is currently preparing its maiden reserve certification for ER315 in collaboration with
independent global consultancy Sproule ERCE. This process represents a key step in the Company’s
transition from appraisal to development and follows a series of highly successful drilling and production
testing campaigns. The certification will underpin the Company’s forthcoming Production Right
application, which remains on track to be lodged ahead of schedule and under budget. Importantly,
reserves will be assigned over only a very small portion of D3 Energy’s broader acreage and mapped
fault zones, supporting the Company’s geological model and highlighting the significant upside that
remains across ER315.
