During the meeting, preparations for drilling the first exploration well with a depth of 5,500 meters were discussed at the Karaton Podsolevoy site. At present, the necessary equipment for drilling is being installed at the site. Drilling is planned for November 2024.

The Karaton Podsolevoy site is located in the Atyrau and Mangistau regions near the working deposits of "Embimunaygaz" JSC.
