Askhat Khassenov, Chairman of the Management Board of NC KazMunayGas JSC, met in Astana with Ali Al Janabi, Senior Vice President and Country Chairman of Shell in Kazakhstan, and Dylan Morgan, Deputy Managing Director of Chevron Eurasia Business Unit.
During the discussions, KazMunayGas also made Agreements with Shell and Chevron for the right to use the geological information, which will enable efficient use of the seismic study results for planning joint exploration work.
“We are confident that a partnership with the leading global energy companies will give new impetus to the development of geological exploration in Kazakhstan, and will help attract new technology and foreign direct investment,” A. Khassenov noted.
Cooperation with the strategic partners is aimed at jointly studying the prospects of the Mugodzhar project in Aktobe region.
