对于海底脐带缆和电缆，Deep C 声称其挖沟技术涉及的操作范围比传统方法小得多，从而提高了整个项目的操作灵活性。

DOF Group expects to start a new subsea mooring installation services program offshore Western Australia during the third quarter, using the Skandi Hercules vessel.

The contract’s work includes project management and engineering, procurement and logistics support. Offshore activity should continue for about two months.

Following a pilot trenching project last year, DOF will also embark during the current quarter on a full-scale deepwater trenching operation offshore Asia, in collaboration with Deep C.

The pilot phase tested Deep C’s ROV trenching skid in water depths of more than 1,000 m.

For subsea umbilicals and cables, Deep C claims its trenching technology involves a much smaller operational spread than conventional methods, leading to improved operational flexibility throughout a project.
