IDC Completes First Well in Sonangol Contract

The Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) has completed the drilling of the first well, LF2, as part of the contract signed with Sonangol to drill 13 oil wells in the Qayyarah oil field in Nineveh Governorate. Drilling operations were conducted using the 800-horsepower IDC 223 drilling rig, reflecting the high technical competence of the company's staff and its ability to implement projects according to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Iraqi Drilling Company continues its commitment to implementing the Ministry of Oil's plans to develop fields and boost national production by implementing drilling projects according to the specified timetables.
