• Booth-1 exploration well reaches Total Depth with no moveable hydrocarbons
discovered.
Strike Energy Limited (Strike - ASX: STX) provides an update on the drilling of Booth-1 in L7 in
the north Perth Basin. The L7 operator, Triangle Energy Global Ltd. (Triangle - ASX: TEG), has
informed Strike that Booth-1 has reached Total Depth (TD) just before 9:00am on 7 August
2024, with no moveable hydrocarbons discovered in any of the reservoir targets.
The Booth-1 well was drilled ahead of schedule and within budget and will be plugged and
abandoned over the coming days.
About the Booth-1 Exploration Campaign
The Booth-1 well was targeting gas in the Kingia-High Cliff reservoirs, with potential for oil or gas
in the overlying sandstones within the Dongara and Cattamarra formations, with a TD of 2,812 m
measured depth (md).
The Booth-1 well, drilled in the L7 permit in the North Perth Basin, has surface location and
elevation details as follows:
