During 2025, the technical and engineering staff of the Iraqi Drilling Company completed the drilling of 62 oil wells and the rehabilitation of 175 oil wells, bringing the total number of completed wells to 237. These wells were distributed across various Iraqi oil fields, from north to south, in accordance with approved technical programs and quality and safety standards.
The Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Mr. Hassan Mohammed Hassan, stated that these achievements are the result of the continuous efforts exerted by the company's staff and their high level of commitment to schedules and technical specifications. He emphasized the company's continued commitment to executing its work with high efficiency and in coordination with national and international oil companies.
He added that the Iraqi Drilling Company is committed to enhancing its operational capabilities and developing its technical performance, which contributes to supporting plans for increasing and sustaining production and strengthens its pivotal role in supporting the national oil sector and achieving the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Oil.
