位于韩国蔚山的 HD 现代重工 (HHI) 船厂已为伍德赛德能源的Trion 半潜式浮式生产装置 (FPU) 切割了第一批钢材。 

这将是墨西哥近海作业的首个深水采油平台，水深2500米，距海岸180公里。

伍德赛德于 2023 年 6 月将工程、采购和施工合同授予现代重工。目前，Trion 开发项目（与 Pemex 合资，持股 40%）已完成 15% 以上，目标是在 2008 年产出第一批石油。

现代重工表示，将建造整个 Trion FPU，包括顶部和船体，并计划于 2027 年上半年启航前往墨西哥。

Trion开发项目是 Woodside (60%) 和 Pemex (40%) 的合资项目。

The HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) yard in Ulsan, South Korea, has cut first steel for Woodside Energy’s Trion semisubmersible floating production unit (FPU). 

This will be the first deepwater oil production platform to operate offshore Mexico, and it is in 2,500 m water depth and 180 km from the coast.

Woodside awarded HHI the engineering, procurement and construction contract in June 2023. Currently, the Trion development (a joint venture with Pemex - 40%) is more than 15% complete, with first oil targeted in 2008.

HHI says it will build the entire Trion FPU, including the topside and hull, and plans to set sail for Mexico in the first half of 2027.

The Trion development is a joint venture between Woodside (60%) and Pemex (40%).
