11 月 14 日， TotalEnergies EP Suriname宣布，该公司与SBM Offshore签订了位于苏里南 58 区块的 GranMorgu 油田开发项目合同。

TotalEnergies 是该区块的运营商，拥有 50% 的所有权。APA Corp. 也持有该区块的权益，而 Staatsolie 打算行使其选择权，以最多 20% 的权益进入该项目。

TotalEnergies EP Suriname awarded SBM Offshore contracts for Suriname’s offshore GranMorgu field development project located in Block 58, SBM announced Nov. 14.

SBM will construct and install a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel alongside its partner Technip Energies, the company said.

The all-electric drive FPSO will be Suriname’s first large deepwater project development 150 km offshore. It will have a production capacity of up to 220,000 boe/d and an associated gas treatment capacity of up to 500 MMcf/d. The FPSO will be spread moored in 400 m water depth and capable of storing approximately 2 MMbbl of crude.

SBM Offshore will also operate the unit under an operations and maintenance agreement.

The GranMorgu project is Block 58’s first development. First oil is expected in 2028.

TotalEnergies is the operator and holds a 50% ownership in the block. APA Corp. also holds interest in the block and Staatsolie intends to exercise its option to enter the project at up to 20% interest.
