Intensity Infrastructure Partners called an open season for potential customers on the Phase II Extension project for the company’s proposed natural gas pipeline for Bakken Shale egress.
The open season began at 9 a.m. CDT on April 17 and will end at 1 p.m. CDT on May 23. Potential customers may contact the company for more information.
The Intensity Pipeline is a proposed 344-mile natural gas line with an initial capacity of 1.1 Bcf/d. The Phase II Extension will make up 208 miles of the total length and interconnect with the proposed Phase I project in North Dakota’s McLean County and will terminate near Casselton.
Phase II’s expected in-service date is 2030. The final design of the pipeline depends on the level of demand during the open season, Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Intensity wrote in the announcement.
Intensity’s partner in the project is Houston-based EIV Capital. The company announced an equity commitment from EIV in January.
