Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji made a significant announcement during a cabinet meeting on 4 October in Tehran, revealing the discovery of four new oil and gas fields within the past two years.
According to reports from the Iranian Students’ News Agency, Minister Owji disclosed that these newly uncovered fields contain recoverable reserves, meaning they can be economically and technically extracted at the current oil prices, and together, they hold approximately 2.6 billion barrels of oil.
