项目位于莺歌海盆地，平均水深约68米，主要生产设施包括一座新的无人井口平台和一条海底管道，计划共投产6口开发井，预计2025年实现天然气日产量^{3800万立方英尺的峰值。}

该项目新建无人井口平台采用标准化、一体化建设，优化设备布局，有效利用平台空间，大幅降低项目投资。产出的油气将通过海底管道输送至东方气田现有设施进行处理。近年来，中海油不断挖掘莺歌海—琼东南盆地的资源潜力，充分利用现有生产设施，降低新项目开发成本。

东方29-1气田的投产将进一步释放东方气田的产能，公司在海南岛周边的海上气田将继续为海南岛提供清洁、可靠、稳定的能源供应。中海油持有该项目100%的权益并担任作业者。

The project is located in the Yinggehai Basin, with an average water depth of approximately 68 m. The main production facilities include a new unmanned wellhead platform and a submarine pipeline. A total of 6 development wells are planned to be commissioned. The project is expected to achieve a peak production of 38 million ft³/d of natural gas in 2025.

The new unmanned wellhead platform of the project is constructed in a standardised and integrated manner. The equipment layout has been optimised to make efficient use of platform space and significantly reduce project investment. The oil and gas produced will be connected to the existing facilities of Dongfang gas fields through the submarine pipeline for processing. In recent years, CNOOC Limited has been continually tapping the resource potentials of the Yinggehai-Qiongdongnan Basin, to fully utilise the existing production facilities and thereby reduce the development cost of new projects.

The commissioning of Dongfang 29-1 will further release the production capacity of the Dongfang gas fields. The Company’s offshore gas fields around Hainan Island will continue to provide clean, reliable and stable energy supply for the Island. CNOOC Ltd holds 100% interest in this project and is the operator.
