Subsea7 Awarded EPCI Contract for Work Offshore Turkey

Subsea7 was awarded an EPCI contract by Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center for the third phase of development of the Sakarya Field in the Black Sea.


Subsea 7 was awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract by Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center (TP-OTC) for the Phase 3 development of the Sakarya field offshore Turkey, the company said Aug. 27.

The EPCI services will be for subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines in the Black Sea project.

Project management and engineering will begin immediately.

Subsea 7 said the major contract, defined by the company as being worth between $750 million and $1.25 billion, demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver complex offshore projects.

“We are proud to continue our journey with TP-OTC on the Sakarya Gas Field Development Project, supporting Türkiye’s vision for energy independence,” said Hulya Ozgur, Subsea 7 Türkiye business unit director. “This new award reflects the dedication and capability of our Türkiye team, our commitment to local content development, and our focus on delivering safe and efficient offshore solutions.”
