In 2025, the Company performed all of the planned geological exploration works, including seismic surveys, drilling operations and tests of exploration-and-prospecting & appraisal wells.
As a result, new hydrocarbon deposits were discovered in such key gas production centers as the Yamal Peninsula, Yakutia and the Nadym-Pur-Taz region.
Gazprom expanded its resource base on the Arctic shelf. A considerable addition in reserves was achieved at the Ledovoye and Leningradskoye fields. Besides, the construction of another exploratory well was completed at the Dinkov field in the complex natural climatic conditions of the Kara Sea. This forms part of the consistent work being carried out by the Company to prepare the development of promising offshore fields.
Gazprom's systematic efforts aimed at the effective development of active fields and prospecting for new reserves creates a solid foundation for long-term reliable gas supplies to consumers and makes a significant contribution to strengthening the energy security of Russia.
The information about the development of the mineral resource base of Gazprom, as well as about the gas production prospects in the Russian Federation, was reviewed by the Company's Board of Directors today.
