麦克拉克兰先生在国际油气勘探、开发、生产以及碳捕集与封存（CCS）领域拥有丰富的经验。他曾在道达尔能源公司（TotalEnergies SE）、墨菲石油公司（Murphy Oil）、尼克森公司（Nexen）和埃克森美孚公司（ExxonMobil）等公司担任高级领导和执行职务。他拥有卡尔加里大学地球物理学理学学士学位（荣誉课程）。

Chevron announced Kevin McLachlan will become Vice President of Exploration, effective 1 November, overseeing the company’s worldwide exploration program. Mr McLachlan will be based in Houston and succeed Liz Schwarze, who is retiring in February after 36 years of service to the company.

Mr McLachlan has extensive experience in international oil and gas exploration, development, production and carbon capture and storage (CCS). He has held senior leadership and executive roles at companies such as TotalEnergies SE, Murphy Oil, Nexen and ExxonMobil. He received his Bachelor of Science in Geophysics, Honors Program, from the University of Calgary.
