意大利米兰圣多纳托—— 埃克森美孚已授权 Saipem 为圭亚那近海 Stabroek 区块新批准的 Uaru 项目签订价值 5 亿至 10 亿美元的 SURF 合同。

SAN DONATO MILANESE, Italy — Exxon Mobil has authorized Saipem to proceed with a SURF contract, worth between $500 million and $1 billion, for the newly approved Uaru project in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana.

The contract was issued last December but was conditional on the receipt of regulatory approvals. In the meantime, Saipem had worked on detailed engineering and procurement.

Uaru is in 2,000 m water depth. The company’s scope of work covers the design, fabrication and installation of subsea structures, umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) for connection to the FPSO and subsea production facility system.

Saipem will deploy its FDS2 and Saipem Constellation vessels for the offshore campaign. 

Previously, the company has worked on subsea contracts for the Liza phases 1 and 2, Payara and Yellowtail developments in the same block.
