In implementation of the directives of Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Eng. Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, the Iraqi Drilling Company continues to achieve outstanding field results. Its technical and engineering staff completed the drilling of 27 new wells and the reclamation of 86 wells during the first half of 2025, supporting the Ministry's plans to increase production rates and enhance the efficiency of oil fields.
The company's general manager, Eng. Hassan Mohammed Hassan, explained that these figures reflect the commitment of national staff who continue to work with high efficiency despite field challenges. He emphasized the senior management's commitment to developing employee capabilities and providing an integrated and safe work environment, ensuring the best results within the scheduled timelines.
He added that the company is proceeding with its upcoming projects in accordance with a vision aimed at expanding the scope of drilling and reclamation operations, contributing to supporting the national economy and keeping pace with the aspirations of the energy sector in Iraq.
